We are welcomed back to Windy Ridge, where Olivia has been sent to open up a new branch of the BCR law firm and is immediately told that Pastor Dan has been charged with embezzling. She takes the case, pro bono, and sets out to find out the truth of the matter. Grant is back as well as some other familiar faces from the first book and a new one as well. This story starts fast and doesn’t let up til the conclusion. This is book 2 in the series and though it could be read as a stand alone, the 1st book will fill in so much of the back story that you will want to read it first. Anxiously awaiting the soon release of book 3 to see what else Windy Ridge is up against. Great storyline with likeable (and no so likeable) characters is this hard to put down book.Product details

Very interesting story. Sometimes we forget the battles faced in the spiritual realm, but they are real and ever before us. This was a good reminder.
I could not put this book down. The story grabbed me right away & didn't let me go. I highly recommend it.
Another Frank Perretti type of book showing the battle between good and evil. The fight is hard, but you get to see the many goog things that God can orchestrate from the bad things w e face. This book will make you want to pray.
Since first learning to read 64 years ago, I have loved the escape that reading allows. As a Christian, it's very important that the books that I read are appropriate reading. Rachel Dylan knows how to write books that are clean in language, romantic, and nail biting thrillers!
There is an evil force out there while Satan finishes his days on earth, but with all he battles us with, Jesus had already finished it all fir us. Rachel Dylan's prolific writing brings a great intensely thrilling war of angels and demons. For me the greatest inspiration is that Nina Marie renounced her affiliation with the devil and gave her heart to God... how awesome that God loves us so much it thrills Him to welcome us into His loving arms, It's His pleasure to forgive, nothing is so bad He won't forgive. That was layed out in this entire novel. Well done!
This book picks up where Trial and Tribulations ended. As with Trial and Tribulations I was pulled right into the story from page one. The battle between good and evil was real, front and center. Rachel's writing reminds me of Frank Peretti's. Having another author who writes about the supernatural is a treat, as there aren't very many who write like this. I love how the characters are still learning about their faith and how these battles stretch and strengthen their faith.
Three stars because I like it, but it's not absolutely fantastic. The characters are believable and interesting, the story kept me interested; but I gave it one less star because you have to read the first book. Is that worth one less star? I guess so. If you want to read just one book, don't buy this one because you need to start with the first one.
Good news, though. This is an excellent Christian fiction book. I highly recommend it (and the first one). It keeps your interest, the story is very good in how the main character is a strong Christian and how spiritual warfare is so prevalent but can be missed so easily. We need to always pray to be aware of the spiritual side of our lives and ask the Lord to keep our eyes open. It's so easy to get wrapped up in the physical and there were characters in this book that took great advantage of that.
