This was a good story and held my attention to the end. But some of the language was a little quirky.

Amazing sweet western romance that starts in New York City. Nothing ordinary about this story. You will enjoy this story with an A 1 rating.
A look at the role of a beloved servant in the home who was considered to be like family. About loyalty, compassion, love and exceptional servitude.
This was an interesting story especially potray in a strong woman in the 1800's. The book is a clean historical book but left some questions for me
What happened to her intended Albert? Her connection to one of the sisters where she told her she'd be back? Over A year married and no children? Guess the book left me wanting more.
A great book. A young lady from the East had answered an advertisement for a Bride only to find out that he was not what he had told her, she left and found a cowboy that took her in. The Cowboy was a gunslinger and taught her to shoot. A must read for those who enjoy historical western romance kindle books from at a special price and from a delightful author who keeps me entertained throughout the entire book before putting it down. An amazing reading experience.
And Not your typical Mail Order Bride story + is longer. She was brought up in the East. Most eligible men that were there (after the Civil War) have now gone West to find gold. She decides to become a Mail Order Bride, arrives and finds out the man had sent a picture of him when he was much younger, his house is filled with his mother, aunts, cousins, and then all he seems to want to do is parade her around as a prize he has just won. Thankfully, things happen - and she meets another man. Keeps you reading and I enjoyed it.
